Elimination Chamber

We start the elimination chamber pay per view with Alberto Del Rio getting announced and Ricardo Rodriguez even throws in a little spanish about the Oakland Raiders being losers. Del Rio comes to the ring and tells us all his name. He says that he is committed to excellence, unlike the people of Oakland. Del Rio once again says that it is his destiny to win at Wrestlemania. He goes on to verbally attack his opponent tonight, Kofi Kingston. Kofi comes out and the match begins.

Kofi backs Del Rio into the corner and the ref makes him back away before the men lock up against and once again Del Rio makes the ref get Kofi away. Alberto hits a back breaker and then a kick to the back of Kingston. Kofi dodges an attack and hits a drop kick. Del Rio rolls out of the ring and Ricardo checks on Del Rio. Kofi goes outside and hits Del Rio with a kick before throwing him back into the ring. Kofi hits a forearm and then heads for the turnbuckle but Del Rio shoves him into the ring post. Del Rio whips Kofi into the steel steps and throws him back into the ring for a 2 count. Del Rio puts Kofi in a body scissors and Kofi fights out of it. Alberto throws Kofi down by his hair for a 2 count. Del Rio hits a back suplex for another 2 count. Rio puts Kingston back in a body scissor and once again Kofi fights out. Irish Whip from Del Rio and Kofi hits a whisper rin the wind like move except he hits Del Rio with a forearm. Kofi starts to build big momentum and hits the Boom Drop. Del Rio dodges the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi goes to the top rope and tries a cross body but Alberto drops to the mat and lifts his knees into Kofi's gut. Del Rio gets a two count. Alberto puts Kofi on the top rope and Kofi fights Del Rio off. Kofi hits a big drop kick and Del Rio kicks out at 2. Del Rio hits a modified gut breaker for another 2 count. Kofi counters what would have been a flap jack into a big DDT. Ricardo distracts the ref long enough for Del Rio to recover and kick out at 2. Kofi counters the Cross Arm Breaker with the SOS for another 2 count. Del Rio hits a nasty looking neck breaker. Kofi tries to stop the cross arm breaker but Del Rio over powers Kofi and gets the submission win.

We go to the back and Todd is with Edge. Todd asks what Edges frame of mind is after the last few weeks. Edge says that he isn't stupid in the last five years no champion has gone in and come out still champ. Drew McIntyre comes over and says that he is happy for Edge but what about Kelly Kelly. He asks Edge how he can live with himself knowing someone got fired because of him. McIntyre says that Edge took someone important from him so Drew will take something important from Edge. Edge says that there is one thing Kelly Kelly and the World Heavyweight Title has in common, they will never be seen with McIntyre and leaves.

It has been made known that Kane has never been in the elimination chamber which seems kinda wrong to me, how could the E wait so long to put Kane in the chamber. The next man out has also never been in the chamber Drew McIntyre. The third man out also hasn't been in a chamber Wade Barrett. Unlike Drew, Wade comes in and is very calm looking though he taunts McIntyre. Teddy Long comes out to tell us who is the mystery competitor in the chamber. Out comes........Big Show, I'm disappointed to be honest. Out next is Rey Mysterio which would mean the last person would be Edge who have both been in plenty of chamber matches. I do believe the chamber match that Edge won he beat Mysterio to do it.

Mysterio and Edge start the match and Mysterio uses his speed on Edge but Edge hits a flap jack on Rey for a 2 count. Edge stomps on Mysterio in the corner and throws him to another corner. Rey catches Edge with a head scissors Mysterio gets back body dropped onto the steel outside the ring. Mysterio hits a corner frankenstiencr. Edge and Mysterio get outside of the win and Edge pushes Rey into the chain walls and stomps away on Rey. Edge throws Rey into Kane's chamber and then throws him into the ring. Edge pins for a 2 count. Rey hits a drop toe hold on Edge and Wade is released from his cell. Wade stomps away on Rey and then goes for Edge but Edge beats Wade down. Edge sling shoots Rey into Barrett and then throws Mysterio out of the ring. Wade hits Edge from behind and then brings Mysterio back into the ring. Wade hits a big pump handle slam for a 2 count. Wade whips Mysterio into the corner hard and goes after Edge. Wade throws Edge headfirst into the chains and then brings him back into the ring for a two count. Barrett goes for a jumping attack but Edge ducks and Wade crashes onto the steel. Barrett tries to hit Wasteland on Mysterio but Rey counters and hurracarana's Barrett back into the ring. Mysterio gets the 619 ready but Edge hits a big big big boot on Rey for only a 2 count. Edge works on Barrett as the next person, Kane is released. Kane comes out and hits each person in the chamber and hits a low drop kick on Wade for a two count. Kane just takes everyone down until Mysterio hits Kane with a round house kick. Edge and Barrett respectively to the same thing all for 2 counts. Edge, Mysterio, and Wade hit clotheslines on each other knocking each other down. Kane gets up and clotheslines Edge out of the ring onto the steel. Kane goes after Wade and hits him with and flurry of big punches and kicks. Wade fights back and tries to throw Kane into the chains but Kane reveres. Mysterio tries to fight Kane but Kane hits an uppercut on Mysterio making him fall into the Tree of Woe and Edge hits a hesitation drop kick on Rey. Kane comes into the ring and whips Edge and hits a back elbow. Kane hits Wade back out of the ring. Next out of their cell is McIntyre. Drew throws Mysterio headfirst into the cell and Wade and Drew and both work over Kane. McIntyre turns on Barrett and throws him through the glass of the cell. Drew goes over to Edge and hits a snap suplex for a two count. Drew tries the Future Shock but Edge counters into the Impaler DDT. Everyone is struggling to get up. Edge prepare s the Spear but Kane gets in and takes everyone out again. Edge and Kane hit each other with kicks to the face. Big Show is finally let out of his cell and Show destroys everyone that gets near him include a big slap that sends Drew over the ropes back to the floor.Wade tries his best to avoid Show but he is trapped. Big Show throws Wade through a cell and then hits a bunch of punches to Wade and then hits the knock out punch to Wade and Barrett is eliminated. Mysterio is on top of a cell and Kane hits a flying clotheslines on Big Show. Edge hits a elbow drop on Show for 2. Drew hits the Future Shock on Show for 2. Rey hits a seated senton from the top of a cell on Show for a 2 count. Rey then hits the 619 and Edge hits the Spear on Big Show. Kane knocks Edge and Rey down and then hits a Chokeslam to eliminate Big Show. Kane hits the Chokeslam on Drew for the 3 count. Edge and Rey work together on Kane to little success until Rey hits a spinning DDT and a slingshot leg drop on Kane for a 2 count. Rey hits the 619 on Kane and goes to the top rope. Rey tries for the West Coast Pop but Kane stops the move and Edge hits a spear on both Mysterio and Kane. Edge pins Kane for the 3 count. Kane hits a boot on Edge and then Chokeslams both of the remaining participants. So the first two people to start the match will end the match. Both men use the turnbuckle to get back to their feet. Edge goes for the Spear and Rey counters with a roll up for a two count. Edge rolls through a spring board cross body for a 2 count. Rey hits a DDT on Edge for another 2 count. Rey goes to the top rope but Edge stomps him and Rey knocks Edge of the turnbuckle. Edge catches Mysterio and hits a powerbomb for a 2 count. Edge tries another powerbomb and rey counters into the 619 and Edge counters the 619 into a modified Sharpshooter. Rey rolls out of the submission hold and pins Edge for a 2 count. Edge gets to the corner and is ready for another Spear and misses the first attempt and then hits an immediate second Spear for the…...2 count. Mysterio hits the 619 and a body splash for the 2 count. Mysterio hits a second 619 on Edge but as he is flying off the top rope Edge hits a Spear for the................3 COUNT!

Edge goes into the Elimination Chamber and comes out of the Elimination Chamber the Champion.Del Rio runs down and starts beating on Edge. Alberto puts Edge in the Cross Arm Breaker. Suddenly the music of the man who should have been the chamber hits. CHRISTIAN! Christian runs down to the ring and starts beating on Del Rio. Christian throws Del Rio into the turnbuckle face first and the Refs have to come out and pull Christian off. Christian breaks free and hits the Kill Switch on Del Rio. Edge gets back up and I really hope we See Christian vs Del Rio vs Edge at Wrestlemania because Christian is the greatest star on the current WWE roster to never have a world title of any kind in the WWE.

Matt Striker is in the back and he asks Jerry Lawler what is going through his head. The King says that this week should have been the greatest, most enjoyable week of his life but he can't help but think about his mom who just recently died. Jerry says he knows that he has to try and focus on winning the WWE Title tonight. (During this promo I can hear Booker chants, real nice)

Booker T is now in the ring and Booker introduces a new train to the up coming WWE Tough Enough. Trish Stratus comes out and comes down to the ring. Booker says welcome back and tells Trish she looks marvelous. Trish says she has been working on a new catch phrase. Trish does a mock between the Rock's finally catch phrase and ends it with Sucka. Booker looks less than impressed but he continues the interview. He asks Trish why she is here tonight and Trish says she is here to watch Jerry Lawler win the WWE Championship.

Kozlof and Slater start the match and Santino tags in and hits a judo flip on Slater. Heath hits Santino in the gut and tags in Gabriel. Santino misses a kick and Gabriel sweeps Santino's leg. Santino quickly gets up and tags in Kozlof. Kozlof hits Justin with a Battering Ram aka Vlad's head. Gabriel hits a big kick to the side of Kozlof's head and Slater tags in and hits a spinning slingshot into the ring for a 2 count. Justin tags in and tags out so they can double team Kozlof. Vlad uses his strength to fight off Slater and get to Santino. Santino hits a hip toss on Slater and then on Gabriel. Santino hits the Cobra on Justin and then gets a 2 count on Slater. Slater tags in Justin and Santino tag in Kozlof. Kozlof picks apart Gabriel and Slater gets a blind tag as Kozlof pins the wrong man. Slater hits a reverse DDT on Vladimir and tags Gabriel. Slater drop kicks Santino off the apron and Gabriel hits the 450 Splash to get a clean victory for the Tag Team Championship.

Todd now is interviewing the Miz. Todd asks how nervous the Miz is. The Miz says that he will not lose tonight. As for the people in the Raw Elimination Chamber who ever wins will lose just the same at Wrestlemania because he is the Miz. Vicky comes out to the ring and says excuse me in a much more somber less annoying tone. She says that two nights ago Smackdown faced a horrible tragedy. Dolph Ziggler was fired. Vicky wants to explain the situation, she says that Dolph and her were dealing with issues. Dolph apparently has a very bad temper and is easily confused so in his passion he attacked Teddy Long. She asks the people of the world to convince Teddy Long to give Dolph his job back. She says Dolph and Vicky deserve a second chance. Teddy comes out from the back and tells Vicky to stop what she is doing, she is just embarrassing herself. Teddy says he is in a hiring mood. Vicky freaks out but Teddy tells her to be quite. Teddy didn't fire Dolph back, Teddy rehired someone else, Kelly Kelly. Kelly comes down to the ring and Kelly chases after Vicky. Until they are face to face in the ring. Vicky tries to explain the situation and Kelly starts beating on Vicky. LaCool come down and start attacking Kelly Kelly. Trish runs down and hits Chick Kick and then fumbles with the Stratusfaction, then hits her DDT. Kelly and Trish pose in the ring.

Alex Riley comes down to the ring with the Miz in his ring gear. Jerry Lawler gets actually a pretty big pop considering. The two men lock up and Jerry gets a 2 count roll up. Miz uses his much better speed but Jerry gets two more rolls ups for 2 counts. Miz puts Jerry in a headlock and hits a shoulder block. Jerry hits a clothesline on the Miz for a 2 count. Jerry hits a running cross body for another 2 count. Jerry hits the corner ten punches and then clotheslines the Miz out of the ring. Riley distracts The King and Miz shoves Jerry into the ring post. Miz puts Jerry on the apron and hits a high knee and gets a 2 count. Miz covers Lawler for a 2 count. Miz hits his corner attack on Jerry Lawler and climbs to the top rope. Jerry knockes Miz's feet out from under him. Jerry hits a superplex on the Miz for a two count. Miz hits a kick to the gut on Jerry and the two men start hitting each other back and forth. Jerry hits two drop kicks and a back body drop on Miz for a 2 count. The Ref throws out Riley after a rather obvious interruption. Jerry rolls up the Miz again for a 2 count. Jerry gets hit in the face with a boot and goes to pin Jerry but Lawler counters the pin for a 2 count. Michael Cole distracts Jerry and Miz hits Jerry from behind. Jerry slams Miz's head of the commentators desk and then throws the Miz over the table into Michael Cole. Booker laughs and says, “Cole.....could be out.” Jerry goes to the top rope and hits a flying punch for a 2 count. Miz pokes Lawler in the eye but Jerry fights out of the Skull Crushing Finale and hits a DDT. Jerry gets to the second rope and pulls the strap down. Lawler hits the first drop but Miz gets a foot on the bottom rope breaking up the 3 count. After a few pin counters Miz kicks Jerry in the back of the head and then hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.Michael Cole rolls into the ring and shakes the Miz's hand.

We are now in the back and John Cena is eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles, in reference to what The Rock said about John Cena.. We go to Matt Striker who is with CM Punk. Punk says that he can't see Cena beating him, he can't see Cena beating the other competitors in the chamber, and he can't see anyone but him winning the Raw Elimination Chamber Match.

Sheamus and Morrison struggle against each other until Sheamus hits a shoulder block. Sheamus puts Morrison in a headlock and hip tosses him to the mat three times. Sheamus slaps Morrison in the face and Morrison sweeps Sheamus' legs and starts punching away on him. Morrison and Sheamus start fighting outside of the ring. Morrison misses the Flying Chuck kick but then does the move off the chains and hits Sheamus knocking him back into the ring. Sheamus hits a short arm clothesline and then another. Morrison hits a soccer kick on Sheamus and prepares the Starship Pain but Sheamus pushes Morrison out of the ring onto the steel. Sheamus bangs his head off the chain and brings him back into the ring. Randy Orton is the first out of his cell and hits two scoop slams on Morrison and Sheamus before tossing Morrison over the ropes into Sheamus. Orton goes over to Punk. Morrison gets thrown through the empty cell pod and then hits the second rope DDT on Sheamus outside the ring. Orton pins Morrison for a 1 count. Orton stomps away on Morrison and Sheamus before putting Morrison on the top rope. Orton hits a superplex on Morrison for a 2 count. Orton puts Sheamus on the top rope and hits a superplex on Sheamus as well for a 2 count. Orton waits for Punk as his pod won't open and CM Punk is stuck in the opening. Orton brutally beats away on Punk and throws him into the ring. Orton hits RKO on CM Punk and gets the 3 count making Punk probably the shortest lasting star in the Elimination Chamber. Before Punk exits the Chamber the RAW GM chimes in. Due to the malfunctioning pod CM Punk wasn't given a fair chance to compete so CM Punk now gets to reenter his pod as he is back in the match. Punk gets in pod and starts laughing. So now we are back to three superstars in the ring. Sheamus hits the Irish Curse Back Breaker for a 2 count. Sheamus throws Morrison out of the ring onto the steel. Orton misses the RKO, Sheamus misses the Brode Kick and Morrison hits a Flying Chuck on Orton. Sheamus throws Morrison out of the ring again and throws him into the chains. Next out is John Cena. Sheamus runs into Cena's pod and starts beating on him. Sheamus brings Cena out and throws him into the chains. Cena falls into the ring. Cena tries to hit the Attitude Adjustment on Morrison who flips out of it onto the steel. Sheamus hits an inverted DDT on Cena. Morrison hits a springboard clothesline on Orton and Sheamus before Cena throws him out of the ring. Sheamus hits a springboard clothesline of his own on the two Johns. Orton hits a reverse clothesline bring Sheamus back into the ring. Orton hits his jumping knee drop and gets the 2 count. Sheamus hits a low knee on Orton. Sheamus hits Morrison with a kick and he throws Cena back into the ring. The next person out is R-Truth. Sheamus tries to do the same thing to Truth that he did to Cena and Truth counter and starts slamming Sheamus' head against the pod. Sheamus manages to kick Truth in the gut to get him off. Truth hits a hip toss on Sheamus outside the ring. Truth then hits a front suplex on Orton, a suplex cutter on Morrison and a corkscrew clothesline on Cena. As Truth turns around he is destroyed with a kick from Sheamus and Truth is eliminated. Morrison gets on top of Sheamus and starts punching on him then pins for a 2 count. Orton starts stalking Morrison and throws him through another pod. Orton gets in the ring and Cena and him start punching each other back and forth. Orton wins the back and forth with a drop kick and gets a 2 count on Cena. Orton starts stomping on Cena. Orton once again waits for Punk to comes out of the cell. Cena tries for an Attitude Adjustment on Orton who counters and hits an RKO on the steel. Sheamus hits the Brode Kick on Orton and Punk kicks Sheamus in the head. Punk pins Orton for a 2 count. Punk tosses Orton back into the ring. Punk hits the GTS on Orton. Punk eliminates Randy Orton. A surprise by any means to me. Punk hits a knee to Cena and then runs to Sheamus and does the same. Sheamus counters a back suplex and clotheslines Punk on the steel. Morrison and Sheamus start fighting again. Morrison hits a R-Truth like clothesline. Morrison climbs on top of a pod and Sheamus knocks him down. Sheamus tries to hit his High Cross on Sheamus from the top of the pod. Morrison knocks Sheamus down. Morrison climbs to the center of the Elimination Chamber and drops down on Sheamus just as he looks up. Morrison eliminates Sheamus. I'm not sure if people really understand what just happened Morrison climbed upside down across the roof of the chamber and hit Sheamus with a cross body. Morrison looks to be in really rough shape now. Cena and Punk are back in the ring. Cena hits two shoulder blocks, a back suplex, and the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena doesn't get the Attitude Adjustment cause Punk rolls out fo the steel. Cena follows after Punk and lifts him up. Morrison runs from the other side of the ring and hits a body block on both Punk and Cena. Punk Pins Cena for a 2 count. Punk crawls back into the ring. Morrison goes for the knee strike on Cena but misses and slams his knee into pod. Morrison actually knocked the glass out with his knee. Punk puts Cena in the Anaconda Vice. Cena powers up and and Morrison hits a flying clotheslines on Punk who is stuck on top of Cena's shoulders. Morrison pins Punk then Cena both for 2 counts. Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment on Morrison and Punk kicks Cena in the face. Punk hits a springboard clothesline on Cena and then tosses him into the pod. Punk falls back into the ring and goes over to Morrison. Morrison jumps from the pod to the chain wall and finally hits another Flying Chuck kick. Morrison tries for Starship Pain but misses and falls right on his knee. Punk hits the GTS and Morrison is gone. Cena hits a reverse Attitude Adjustment on Punk to the floor. Cena pins 1....2......3 John Cena wins the Elimination Chamber and he is now the number one contender for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania.
