Smackdown 2/25/11

We start tonights Smackdown with Teddy Long. Teddy says that he has decided to let Vicky fight for her job, Drew McIntyre and Vicky vs Edge and Kelly Kelly, should she lose she will be fired.

Mysterio tries to avoid Kane but it doesn't last long as Kane as Mysterio and hits a snapmare drop kick combo for a 2 count. Kane hits a big uppercut flooring Rey. Rey tries to fight back with kicks but catches Rey and hits a big scoop slam for another 2 count. Kane puts Mysterio in a body scissors. Mysterio tries to fight back again but Kane counters Mysterio with a back breaker. Mysterio trips Kane for the 619 but Kane rolls out of the ring and Mysterio hits a drop kick on Kane but misses a West Coast Pop and gets hit with a big boot. We come back from comercial and Kane has Rey bent over his knee. Mysterio fights out and once again misses the hurricarana and Kane hits a sidewalk slam for a 2 count. Kane drops an elbow on Rey for another 2 count. Kane puts Mysterio in a bear hug. The crowd gets so behind Mysterio that the wide camera actually started shaking for a moment. Kane rams Rey into the turnbuckle and then puts him up on the top rope. Kan e is fought off the rope and Mysterio hits a seated senton and a big kick to the back of Kane's head for a 2 count. Rey goes back to the top rope and he dives off and Kane hits an uppercut on him for a 2 count. Now Kane climbs to the top and misses his flying clothesline. Kane's catches Mysterio and almost hits the Chokeslam but Mysterio drop kicks Kane knocking him into the ropes. Mysterio hits the 619 followed by a seated senton/sunset flip for the 3 count.

While Rey is celebrating Dusty Rhodes comes out. Rey looks excited to see the American Dream and the two share a hug before going to comercial. Dusty syas that Rey has been a friend of his family for quite a long time and Dusty is a little disappointed in his son's actions and what he's been saying. Dusty says he wants Cody to come out and apologize to Rey. Cody comes out in a suit with his face guard still on. Cody asks why Dusty is doing this. Cody looks really embarrassed about wearing the mask and even says everyone is staring at me. Cody goes on a tangent about all the things Rey has taken away from him including all the most recent PPV's and Wrestlemania. Dusty says that him and Cody used to talk about Wrestlemania, about being a champion, and becoming a legend. Dusty says when the diva voted him to be the most handsome superstar and he's lost focas. Dusty says that while Cody was being dashing Miz took Cody's spot and became WWE Champ, while Cody was being dashing, Edge came back from an injury and became World Champ. Dusty says that Cody needs to make everything right and he needs to apologize to Rey Mysterio. Cody says he is sorry to his father, and to Rey he says I apologize in more words. The two shake hands and everything seems hunky dory. Dusty shakes Rey's hand and doesn't let go and Cody hits Rey from behind and stomps away on him. Cody throws Rey out of the ring and then throws Rey into the ring steps. Cody drags Rey out to the ramp and stomps on him some more. Cody rakes Rey's face on the steel grate of the stage. Cody then lifts Mysterio and throws him into Cody's digital mirror tron thing. Cody removes Mysterio's mask and then kicks him in the face. You can't see Rey's face and the refs come out and drap a towel over his head. Commercial break.

Rosa jumps Layla and slams her head on the mat. Rosa gets off and Layla hits a kick and the two women fight to the outside. Michelle gets up and interferers in the match when Layla knocks Rosa into Michelle. Layla get mad at Michelle but everything seems fine between the two, too bad huh.  

We come back from commercial and Jack Swagger is in the ring. The match starts with the two men locking up and Swagger tries to take advantage of Kofi's arm. Swagger hits a big shoulder block for a 2 count. Kofi ties to fight back with kicks but the ref pulls Kofi off. Kofi hits the boom drop and then a corner splash. Swagger slams Kofi's leg against the ring post a few times before Kofi kicks him off. Swagger puts Kofi in the Ankle Lock and Kofi taps out. Kofi loses but he keeps his title.

We go to the back and Vicky is talking to Teddy through his door. She naturally losses her temper and leaves. Vicky finds Chavo and says that family always sticks together. Chavo basically tells her pay back is a bitch.

The stipulation of the match is that The Corre is banned from ring side Big Show naturally slaps Wade all over the ring. Wade jumps on Show's back and tries to put Show down with a Sleeper Hold. Big Show falls into the rope breaking the hold. Comercial, we come back and Wade is on top of Show punching away on the giant. Wade pins for a 1 count. Show fights back from his knees but his momentum is stopped by Wade hitting a low drop kick. Wade hits a DDT on Show from his knees but Show powers Wade off him after a 2 count. Wade goes outside and Show follows after him. Wade pushes Show into the ring post but Show pulls Wade back before he can get into the ring and Show slides in and wins by count out. The rest of the Corre come out and Show gets into the ring. Show suddenly rolls out of the ring grabs a chair and rolls back in. Justin Gabriel takes a chair shot to the head. The rest of Corre get away and take the hurt Gabriel with them  

Drew looks entirely unhappy that he has to fight Edge with Kelly Kelly on Edge's side. Edge tags Kelly in so Vicky has to get in. Vicky shoves Kelly and knocks Vicky down and pummels her a little. Vicky tags in Drew. Edge sunset flips Drew for a 2 count. Drew hits an elbow on Edge and then a stomp. Drew puts Edge in a Chicken Wing submission hold. Edge hits a flap jack on Drew when he is trying to talk to Kelly Kelly. Edge hits a few clotheslines and then pins Drew for a 2 count. Vicky slaps Edge in the face and Drew his a boot to Edge's face. Vicky keeps screaming at Drew. The Future Shock DDT is countered by an Impaler DDT and Edge prepares the Spear. Vicky gets in the ring and pleads with Edge to not do this but Kelly comes in and Spears Vicky and Edge spears Drew for the 3 count victory. Vicky is fired and I don't feel too bad about it.

Teddy Long's music hits and he comes out and he's dancing like a silly idiot. We come back from comercial and Teddy is in the ring with Vicky and Edge. Vicky apologizes to Teddy but it obviously a little too late for that because Teddy tells Vicky that she is fired Vicky ta\rys to get the ref to reverse the decision but he can so she goes to Booker who laughs in his face and then she goes to Michael. He can't do anything so she goes to the camera man he definitely can't do anything. Vicky gets a mic and tries to get Edge to help her she even gets on her knees and begs him. Edge takes the mic and Edge says he can help her get her job back, but instead he says he'd rather sing. Edge sing a very simular song to Vicky that he did to Dolph when he got fired. The crowd is much louder with Vicky's song that they were with Dolph's as well. While Vicky is leaving Del Rio attacks Edge from behind and throws Edge into the ring post. Alberto put Edge in the Cross Arm Breaker. We go off the air with Alberto laughing.
