Smackdown 2/4/11 Kelly Kelly

The show starts with a small Royal Rumble recap showing Del Rio on the top rope celebrating his win. Booker T's music hits and he comes out to a big pop and gets in the center of the ring and does the Spin-a-Rooni. As he finishes Vicky Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler come out to there general boos though not as prominent as normal. Vicky says that tonight will be a Smackdown to never forget. Tonight there will be qualifing for the SmackDown Elimination Chamber.Vicky orders that Kelly Kelly come down to the ring with her usual unplesant voice. Kelly uh Kelly comes to the ring. Vicky blames Kelly Kelly for Dolph losing the title. She says it would have been easy to just fire her but she wants to humiliate her.Kelly gets in Vicky's face and threatens Vicky with quitting and says everyone is sick of her as is everyone else. Dolph interrupts sayings that he blames her for losing his match. Dolph declares himself the uncrowned World Heavy Weight Champion. He then tells Kelly Kelly to leave and she slaps Dolph down and shove Vicky. La Cool come out and corner Vicky but then Edge comes out and helps her escape. I really hope that Edge and Kelly Kelly vs Dolph Ziggler and LayCool isn't the main event but who knows.

We are back from commercial and it is revealed that Booker T is now on the Smackdown broadcasting team replacing Matt Striker. On to the first match, The WWE Tag Team Champs Santino and Kozloff vs Gabriel and Slater of The Corr. Kozloff and Gabriel start it off and Vladimir shows off his sambo skills keeping Gabriel down so Slater tags in. Santino tags in and he holds his own against Heath for about 4 seconds. Santino takes a punch to the face for a 0 count. Kozloff tags in and begins the usually fiery comeback but with some distraction gets hit with an inverted DDT and the 450 splash and Slater and Gabriel get the win over the Tag Champs.

Drew and Kofi get in each other's faces and then lock up. Drew powers Koji into the corner but Kofi uses the bottom turnbuckle to arm drag McIntyre. Drew backs off and look generally unhappy. A school boy for a 1 and half count. Drew starts stomping on Kofi's face and then scoop slams him down and gets another 2 count. Kofi gets Drew in an arm bar hold but Drew powers out and thrown Kofi down head first to the mat. Kofi gets thrown into the corner but dodges a cross body and and climb to the top turnbuckle. He jumps over McIntyre and cloths lines him out of the ring. Kofi follows him out and charges at him just to back body dropped onto the steel steps. We go to commercial and when we come back Kofi is cloths lined and McIntyre gets a 2 count. Drew puts Kingston in an odd submission hold for a few second before Kofi fights out of it. Kofi goes for a hurricanrana but Drew counters it into a gut buster and the ref gives him a 2 count. Kofi fights Drew off but gets another kick to his hurt ribs and once again 2 count. Drew is beginning to get upset. He puts Kofi in the corner and pulls him out and hits a short arm cloths line.Drew lines up his attack and hits a drop kick for only another 2 count. McIntyre gots for another short arm and Kofi flips over the attack and hits a jumping DDT and Kofi covers for a 2 count. Kofi stomps a mud hole in Drew and then hits his boom boom leg drop and begins to do his clap. Drew falls backwards narrowly avoiding the Trouble in Paradise. Del Rio comes on the Tron and Drew gets Kofi in a double underhood and hits the Future Shock DDT and gets the win. So McIntyre is in the Elimination Chamber and Kofi is not.

Mysterio starts the match by countering a suplex into a quick roll up. Swagger kicks out and charges at Mysterio just to fall out of the ring. Swagger gets back in and backs Rey into a corner but he slips around Swagger. Rey tries to climb a turnbuckle but Swagger stops him and this who match is Mysterio. Before he can hit the 619, Swagger rolls out of the ring. Swagger gets the advantage as he begins attacking Rey's leg. Mysterio rolls out of the ring and Swagger follows him to the floor where Jack slams his head off the announce table and then rolls Rey back into the ring. Swagger hits his splash. Jack continues to work on Rey just basically pummeling him and he finally pins him for just a 2 count. Swagger misses his corner splash and Rey hits a second rope DDT for a 2 count. Swagger catches the 619 and tries to use the Ankle lock but Rey rolls and Swagger falls into the turnbuckle. Rey kicks Swagger in the chest and he rolls up Swagger for the 3 count victory.

Now it is time for Alberto Del Rio's Smackdown version of his celebration. This is just dumb already because Rosa Medez and Hornswoggle are in the ring throw out free t-shirts just before Rio comes out. Apparently Del Rio thinks everyone already knows a lot of things. Including his name and his future title accolades. Del Rio says he has a present for Hornswoggle. Ricardo covers Swoggle with a mask and then hands him a stick for the pinata that is hanging over the ring. Naturally Horny hits Del Rio in the lower regions and Alberto kicks Hornswoggle right in the side of head and precedes to beat on the little man. Kofi runs down apparently completely recovered and makes Del Rio leave the ring. Del Rio slides back in as Kofi turns to see if everyone is okay and connects with a sneak attack. Alberto picks up the pinata stick and starts beating Kofi and then puts him in a cross arm breaker.

Do I really need to say what happened next? Choke Slam Kane wins.

The rest of the Corr come down with Wade but that doesn't help him much as Show just beats on Barrett. Barrett hits a low drop kick and forces Show into the corner but it doesn't last long. Show irish Whips Wade into the ref and Ezekiel Jackson runs in and hits a cloths line and Barrett gets a two count. Barrett hits a DDT while Show is on his knees and gets the winning fall. Show gets up and starts attacking the Corr but Slater and Gabriel chop block him and Big Zeke hits a scoop slam on Big Show.

So now it is going to be Rey Mysterio, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Kane and the World Champ Edge at the Elimination Chamber.

Before the match can start Vicky declars that if Edge uses the Spear the title will be stripped from him. Dolph and Edge start the match and Edge quickly gets the momentum but as he goes for the Spear he stops because it is illegal. Ziggler tags and Michelle comes in as Josh Mathew proclames the lunacy of this match "Kelly Kelly is defending the World Heavy Weight Championship!" As we come back from commercials Kelly Kelly is doing the best wrestling I've ever seen who do until McCool starts stomping on her. Michelle tags in Layla and they both start beating on Kelly Kelly. two consecutive 2 counts. Kelly flips out of a back suplex and hits a big slap but it is not to last as Michelle gets up first and tags in Layla. Layla puts a leg scissors on Kelly Kelly's neck. Kelly Kelly gets up and hits a sit out face-buster and tags in Edge but Dolph had the ref distracted so the ref calls the tag illegal. Michelle goes to his a big kick but hits Layla and Kelly kicks Michelle out of the ring and hits a spear on Layla and gets the win. The first ever successful title defense by a woman in WWE history.After the match Vicky gets in the ring and congratulates Kelly Kelly. Because she just competed in her last match, because she is fire. Kelly starts crying as she backs up the ramp as Vicky just shouts random curse words and another none-sense. Vicky says that Edge is going to have a rematch with Ziggler. But this time Vicky is going to be the special guest referee. The show goes off the air as Ziggler hits the Zig Zag and Vicky cackles like an idiot.

I really can't stand Vicky to the point that I don't like watching Smackdown, I think the writers have taken her character a step too far from hated to just plain annoying. The matches were slightly better than RAW so I'll give SD this week a 4 out of 10.
