Online Game Zynga Cityville

If you are like me and you enjoyed games like Simcity, Age of Empires, Civilization, or any other game where you get to build a city and run it, but you don't want to go out and buy the game than you probably have already stumbled upon Zynga's Cityville. While at first this game can be considered a decently fun alternative to the money you'd have to spend for other games there are few things that need to be known before you begin to enjoy playing this game.
The first thing that should be know that like all the other Zynga games you are bound by how much energy you have. When you start the game you have a very low amount of energy to do anything and while you get 1 energy point back about every five minutes that can be very irritating. Collecting money, harvesting crops, building new buildings all take energy away. There are also three ways to restore your energy. Wait, spend City Dollars to replenish it or go to your neighbors and do some nice deeds. The problem with the last one is that you can only do five things for each neighbor and only about every 10-12 hours.
The second thing that should be known is that you WILL NEED neighbors if you want to really play this game. Unfortunately if you have very few friends that play Cityville you will find the game extremely less enjoyable and a hundred times harder. Most buildings are unlocked by amount of neighbors, level, or population so about a third of the things that would have been available to you is now locked away forever. When you build community buildings to raise your population you will find that it isn't so simple. You must either hire friends that play the game or spend City Dollars to have your fake friend Samantha to fill the position. This is the biggest problem in the whole game because as you get more community buildings like schools or hospitals the amount of positions to fill increases dramatically and the amount of City Dollars it takes to fill the position with Samantha increases from 1 or 2 to 4-6. The other problem with this system is that you must be invited to join a community building that has open positions. You can't simply go to your friend's town and click on a unfinished building to join. The City Dollar dilemma might not seem so bad but to earn City Dollar's you must level up for each level you get 1 dollar. So if you have a warehouse that has 3 spots to be filled for 4 dollars each you can see how this game will suddenly lose it's appeal.
Cityville is a decent at best alternative to the SimCity's of the world and in the end you may have wished you bought those games instead. Well in my humble opinion I think you should as you'll be spending money on this game if you don't have everything perfect to play the game or you'll be pulling your hair out waiting to level up so you can build a post office.
